NorCal to Vancouver trip
I recall a few years ago driving from San Fran back home, the only snow we encountered was in the mountain pass between California and Oregon. It was quite an experience; driving to the entrance of the pass we see tons of cars and semi-trailers on the side of the road putting chains on as the police was out to ensure everyone had snowtires or chains. We didn't have snow tires and so we turned around and headed to the nearest Wal-Mart. We bought chains and returned to the mountain pass, about half hour had passed; when we got back to the pass all the cars at the side of the road was gone and the pass was open again to all cars b/c the snow had stopped.
Not this time unfortunately. Considering driving times and overall excitement from this trip I'll just hang out @Vancouver.
I can't afford putting chains on
too low
Seems like staying next to the Coast will do it
do you know any decent/trusted place to crash in Vancouver? I mean not crazy expensive but nice and close to DT to see the city..
