Anyone know about computers? Lost my network adapter? It does not show up in my device manager. Tried a bunch of stuff but I think Ineed this file "e1e5132.sys" to get the driver I downloaded to work. If you can help let me know and I'll pm you my number.
Thanks

Try disconnecting the adapter in your computer and reconnecting it. It should install afterwards, then run the driver.

And if you REALLY 100% sure you need that file try this:

http://www.sysfiles-download.com/sys...e5132.sys.html

The download link is below.. But I am not liable for anything!!

Okay so I don't even know what a network card looks like but I have all my stuff backed up so I thought I would just use the ibm recovery option but when I went to try that it started of with a message "failed to install network adapter-check WINBOM" Any thoughts before I throw this thing accross the garage!!! Is this a software or hardware problem? I didn't mess with anything just lost my internet all of a sudden. Hooked up my laptop to same plug and no problem.

Windows Xp its my garage computer its an older IBM A50 that was a spare that was never used at the wifes office. My other computer is a laptop definately needs replacing slow as hell. Now I have two boat anchors! I guess time to buy a new one.
