Well getting new car is definitely fine but I just think it's better to keep the S. Of course that doesn't seem financially feasible for you currently. But trust me though, the urge to drive your S will grow very strong. I personally love A4 3.2 but it just can't substitute the fun of the S 
The best solution is to get A4 and keep the S but if that's not possible and practical car is a must, then I guess there's no other choice

I would have to agree...wait till spring...if you can...you could sell it for about 3-5K more since it'll be closer to summer...and who knows...you might get a better deal on the new A4 since they are usually firm on prices on new models.
