Default Question about OEM wind deflector

I've read that early AP1s didn't come with wind deflectors. Is that true? Anyone local still have a console lid without the deflector?

Just thought I'd ask because I'd actually be interested in doing an exchange with someone who might want an oem deflector. I have no need for mine, because my car pretty much never has the hardtop off. (I'm assuming that the console lids didn't change during the entire model run, but please correct me if I'm wrong!)

I'd do that, but the exposed holes make it look a little silly.

True haha! But who'd see it with the top always up lol! Anyways, hope you get to swap with someone. It's the little things in life sometimes that make us happy

That's odd I have a model year 2000, pearl you've seen it and it. Ame with a wind deflector. Even the manual shows a wind deflector for this model year.
