So i was talking to the powder coating place and apparently they wont do anything that involves clear coat or something like that. The only colors available is matte black and semi gloss black. which kinda sucks.. i would have liked to go gun metal.. i have alse been looking into some black chrome which looks awesome as well. he said it had something to do with the way it dries or something and that it would run/texturize and i wouldnt be ahppy withe the product

the person that sold me my cold air intake got it powder coated black, and didnt like it... i could see why, it almost looks lumpy, maybe it is hard to get it perfect ?

So I think I am going with a semi gloss black just be on the safe side so I get a nice end product. I am wondering also , since my lugs are all rusted/peeling; I am going to buy some new lugs. I thought black would prob look the cleanest but I thought a neo chrome might look cool with the black wheels but im not sure if that is too import 'ish and if the f150 could pull it off?
