It's summer. Makes convertible sportscars seem particularly appealing.

Because they are cheap in the US and people are bringing them in by the dozen.

That and a lot of them are the same cars being reposted over and over.

Sad to see so many for sale. Maybe people are getting older or their needs are changing.

i was looking recently and there were shitloads of ads... but most of them were for the same car over and over. and because of the states pricing, a lot of people aren't willing to pay what some of the cars here cost. there was a blue 02 S for $24k recently... thats crazyness

When the S was new, it was a $50K car. No one wants to lost $35K on a car in 8 years. But in the US, the car was a lot less, new.
Back then, the exchange rate was around 1.6 whereas it is 1.1 now.

Ad in the bad US economy, and it makes it very cheap to import US spec cars.

Back in the 90's, when the exchange rate was high and the US economy booming, people were importing canadian cars into the US.

Where else do people sell their cars? Has anyone tried to take it to a used car dealership to see what they'd offer? I'm guessing something really low..
