do you guys think 205-60-16s all around on stock ap1 wheels will be alright? Or is it better to go 215-60-16?

i would say 205's or lower.. as thin as possible, if you plan to drive in snow...

if you're not planning on snow driving, and just regular cold weather driving, 215's in the rear are good...

^did you weigh down the trunk, that might've helped a bit.
maybe. but i think the problem was that the snow was just lodged up too tightly against the bottom of the car. the more i tried to get out, the deeper the rear wheels were digging into the snow, and lowering the car further. =(

the 205 width tire will not fit stock ap2 rear i think. The wheel is to wide to fit a 205 tire, i am guessing here. in order to get traction your tire needs to touch the ground but if the snow is touching the bottom of your car that means it is too deep for you to drive, it doesn't matter how good the tire is unless you want to plow the street.

A 205 tire might be able to go onto an 8.5 inch rim, but highly not recommended.

Just get a set of AP1's and run 205 snow tires and call it a day.
