maple ridge is weak....we should go further along to Hope area. That main highway (highway 7?) is pretty good cruise alone (and come back on Highway 1 if you want variety) but hopefully someone know some good side roads along that stretch.
Would be nice to do some actual driving instead of just going to some local areas. Especially to make the island guys visit worth it

Do the boston bar one and the route to Lillooet. Whole fcking awesomeness of empty curvy mountain roads.

http://maps.google.ca/maps?f=q&source=s_q&...7,0.077162&z=14

I did this 2 years ago so I can't exactly remember which road it was but if you see the map, I don't think it was the big yellow Hwy 1 that we took, but the skinny route named Chaumox on the left side. If you zoom out too much, you won't be able to see it.

The thing is though, this is a long ass cruise and prob not everyone's prepared to do it. Requires you to drive all the way to Hope, then up North.

There seems to be some good ideas on RS so we can prob pick one of those...?

^That's what it got me confused as well. If that REALLY IS the road (I will need to confirm with friends, but tough to do here in China with time lag) I took 2 years ago, then I can guarantee the road is simply the best out one out there. Even if it's a dead end, it's no prob cuz we can just turn around and do the same road again, then head home. No need to go up to Lilooet. Cruise can get tiring if it's too long.

Since March 13 actually doesn't work for me (I did vote in the other thread), and with a RS meet the week after this, guess I'll see y'all at the RS meet then!!!

Keep us posted if there'll be a pre-meet for the RS day, so we'll cruise into it like last Spring
Please kindly remove my name in the sign-up list for our Spring Meet on March 13th, won't be making it

Is there a thread here for our presence at the RS Meet on the week after? Is that still on? I am still hoping to make to that one and see some of you...
