I agree Luongo played horrible once again he does make some big saves but he's either on his game or it's usually a disaster. That is the way I have felt about him all season.. He has let in an awful lot of soft goals in the last two games he has sucked! The whole team has been out played, out hit, their passses are not crisp and just all together sloppy play has killed us the last two games. A goalie has to be able to make big saves for the team even if the team plays bad to keep them in it, and Luongo has not. One difference Dave is, that I will cheer for the Canucks next year either way, it might just take more beer to keep my stress level down!!

Do you guys know ...EA's prediction has been right so far ..

That's because EA SPORTS' simulations didn't just pick Vancouver and Boston to meet for this season's championship in April, this matchup was pegged way back in October. In an impressive Nostradamus act, EA SPORTS' preseason simulation accurately tabbed Vancouver to win the Presidents' Trophy before facing off with Boston for a chance to lift the Stanley Cup. In those initial predictions, the Canucks pulled through and won their first-ever Stanley Cup championship in a taut seven-game Final.

(1) Vancouver vs. (3) Boston

Game 1: Boston 1 @ Vancouver 2 [OT]
Game 2: Boston 2 @ Vancouver 4
Game 3: Vancouver 0 @ Boston 1
Game 4: Vancouver 2 @ Boston 3
Game 5: Boston 2 @ Vancouver 4
Game 6: Vancouver 2 @ Boston 3 [OT]
Game 7: Boston 1@ Vancouver 3
Vancouver wins series 4-3

Lu stunk last night for sure and even the night before was pretty bad but he can't be blamed for all them. The defense in front of him was terrible. But I would still like to see Cory in net for game 5, if anything it gives the boston a new goalie to learn, i think he offers something different then Lu in his styles. Look back to game 6 in rd 1, Cory was great except a few puck handling issues and then the injury in the 3rd.
As a goalie in soccer I was always taught "saves all the shots you should, and give your team 1 save you should not have" aka the game changer save. Do that and you are giving your team a chance to win but Lu did not do either last night. The 1st goal was the big save they needed and the 2nd goal was the "should" save they needed. After that its all down hill.

Good thing its a 7 game series and they are back in Vancouver on Friday, Vancouver seems to have stinkers in pairs and they get it all sorted out for the 3rd!

I hang those two first goals on Luongo. Between the legs and top left corner. He had clear vision of the puck, no one in front of the net. Those were rookie saves and he missed them. The other goals I have to agree were a team "lack of" effort. Being out scored 12 - 1 you have to hang a lot of that on Luongo. The "12" anyway. The one I say is Timmie. He is playing like Luongo should be. He is up and into every game. He is playing agressive goal and that is good, he does it well.

The Canucks should just stay in the dressing room for the 2nd period if that is how they are going to play it. Spot the other team 3 goals and just move onto the 3rd.

I predict if the Canucks don't score the first two goals on Friday, they won't win and if they don't win Friday, they are done like dinner.

All the momentum right now is with Boston and Hockey is a Momentum game. Only the Fans at this point can change that. They need to stand up and shout like they never have before. They need to show the Canucks that all is OK and we can do this. Cuz right now it is the Boston PLAYERS that think they can....,

Oh and also my Luongo comments are a build up of the past 3 years..., not just the playoffs. Schnider I think played better that Luongo in the regular season games he played. If they could sell off Luongo and get a half decent goalie that you could depend on, then they coudl bolster up the people in front of him. With Timmie even one on one you can't say for sure your going to beat him and chances are you won't..., to me with Luongo it is 60/40 that your going to beat him and a team can't play offensive hockey wondering if your goalie is going to keep you in the game..., that tends to push you to a defensive game and the score indicates that.

My two cents and I hope to god I'm wrong ...,

I fully agree that is the same way I have felt about Luongo. Schneider plays excellent in goal but he does make rookie mistakes. I hope the fans do get the teem going if we don't win the next time there will be a lot of upset fans! Hopefully we come back and win the next one!! Loosing the way we did in the last two games is unacceptable for a team in the finals. Still cheering GO CANUCKS GO!!!!!!!

Our defense line need to work harder. It seems like there is always a boston player facing lugo 1 v 1. In that situation its hard for lugo and any goal keeper

I noticed last night that in front of Boston's goal no one was standing after a shot. Boston just grabbed anyone around the net and took them to the ground. Canucks battled for the puck. You can't do that. In front of the net, play the player...,

Yep, the refs did suck, that probably compounded their problems.
