I bought the RE-01r and am very happy with those.
Good lord look at the price on these closeouts:

I hear a lot of positive feedbacks from s2k owners.

I believe the RE-11s are the replacement for the RE-01s. I had a pair up front a few months back and they simply are the best tires I've had. Very, very grippy and linear. Can't say they'll work the same for you though, because a few months back I was in Arizona where compared to BC it is very hot and dry.

Well the 050 is the correct tire, I was mistaken. Most places I went the 050's and the RE11's were in the 350.00 range per tire. I was also told that our size is not carried by many places and they would have to be ordered.
I ended up getting the Bridgestone g-Force Super Sport A/S. These are all season and I was told that performance is very close and they have the same speed rating as the 050's.
Pricing, at Firestones they were going to cost me $1205.90 installed out the door, at Tires Unlimited they were 969.90 out the door installed, and at Costco, they were 769.92 installed out the door.
I purchased from Costco and the tires are in Langly and should be here early next week.
They acutally had our size as well. Some of the tires I looked at didn't even make our front tire size.

Are you sure your tires are 010's? The stock tires on my '07 are the Bridgestone 050's. The S2000 seems really picky and from reading various threads, it seems safer to use the same tires front and back.
These Hankooks have gotten good reviews https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.ph...&f=56&t=493764
If you don't mind getting them shipped from the US, you can get four for less than the price of two Bridgestones. http://www.tirerack.com/tires/TireSearchRe...000&tireIndex=0
Looks like these are the same tires Chilidip linked to as well.

No the prices I quoted (except the $350.00 per tire) are all for four. My decision was either getting two 050's or 2 RE11's for the rear and keeping my 050's on the front, OR replace all 4 with all season, which is what I did.
That said, I have a set of 050 fronts for sale I guess.
