Default Tire sizing

Hi guys, I am looking to buy a set of Dunlop Direzza Sport Z1 Star Spec, and I am wondering what size do u guys use. I would like to mainten the stock stagger ratio, so I was thinking to go with 215 front and 255 rear, I was also thinking to buy a set of RPF1 in 17x7.5 +48 17X9 +45, would I run into any rubbing issues? Thanks in advance.

Where are you thinking of picking them up?

I've been thinking of either getting a set of Star Specs or the new Kumho XS. I'm probably going to go with 225 F and 255 R.

it depends, if I can find someone to buy my stock ones from seattle, I will drive down to discount tire in bellingham, and buy a set of enkei rpf1 and the star specs from them. If not, I will probably have the shops ship the tires to point roberts, and pick them up from there.

Go with 225/255. 215/255 will understeer too much. The star specs are a good choice from what I've heard.

The fronts will be okay for the RPFs but rears will rub for sure if you're lowered. You should go a little wider in the front if you plan to run 255s in the back.

so 225 front will not rub at all? so how do I fix the rubbing issue with the rear if I am lowered? roll the fenders?

I'm running 225/255 RE01-R's and found there to still be more understeer than i'd like on tighter to medium corners. I'd definately stay away from 215's up front if you are gonna use 255's out back.

Yah, roll fender and camber. Should be fine with that setup.

depending how low you are you might need to relocate the rear bumper tab.
i recall your in BSP in autoX. and if your planning to change calipers later on RPF1 will not clear the calipers.
i tried the z1 on owens car ( THX!! ) pretty good
but i got a set of XS for myself , just to test it out and it was cheap
