Today's weather SAFE for top down?

I've put the top down in -5 degree temperatures (quite a few times last year), I just crank the heat for a while first and make sure the top is warmed up

I chickened out and kept the top up 
hey ss04 (Cam right? Never met haha) - reading your "Arsenal"... I have one of the lens you got too (the 18-200 "walk around" one) and one similar (50mm F1.4D [G1 I guess])
but with just one D50 and I don't take pictures anywhere as good as you do! Oh and your two other F2.8 must rock!!!

Go top down next time. It's refreshing in cold crisp air.
The 18-200 is a great all-around lens. I love it, but it's too slow in low light. That's where the 2.8's and 1.4 come in handy.

Ed, If your car has been sitting outside in the sun, you can open the top with no problems!
