Do your homework and get the car properly checked out before you buy. If you have BCAA, get them to do a 150 point inspection.

There is a list online somewhere that list things to look for. Get a carfax done, and get an ICBC histroy check done too. Pay the extra little bit and do your homework to avoid buying a lemon.

But with all used cars, be prepared to have to do some work to them as they are used.

From my experience and all the reading on s2ki, a lot of people will say warranty is the shit. Really depends on how good the dealership is. You just need to thoroughly research the car before buying if you're getting used, which most of us did, and you'll have no problem.

I'd like to add a little bit more to what Vic said. Depending on who is offering the warrenty.
Most of the warrenty offered for used cars will be through Global ?????.
It's a scam. Those dealerships offer 2 years or 40,000 km's and on certain repairs. And you have to take your car in to get oil changes done at a place that will give you receipts.

If you plan on buying a newer used car, then warrenty should not be an issue as the car is fairly new.

It's just that I hear various experiences from people from different dealerships.

As Edwen mentioned, get the car checked out. The S is quite robust, but it still needs to have the regular maintenance performed.

Great news is
All of our Carter Honda vehicles are 150 point inspected by a Honda mechanic & another 150 point BCAA inspection.
Plus another year of BCAA membership.

I think we found the right car for you taylor
