Default I'm Thinking About Buying an S2000. Is There Anything I Should Look For?

Hey, what's up guys? I'm thiking about purchasing a used S2000. It only has 27 thousand km, but I've read some posts on here where the past owners or workers at Honda have over revved the engines causing problems with the pistons and what not. Is there anyway or anything thing that I should look for to avoid serious problems such as this? If any of you guys having any buying tips for me, it would be appreciated. This is a pretty big expense, so I don't want to buy a car that's going to cause me problems. Thanks again.

So do you guys think the piston problem is a big concern? Or is it just a rare case here and there?

I wouldn't buy used without a reputable extended warranty. Big bucks for problems otherwise, especially not knowing the history of the s. Good luck. I wouldn't give mine up for the world.
