Using Hankook Ventus RS-2 in Seattle, they're great even in the recent downpours.

But as I known, RS-2 is performance summer tires..... does it can handle on snow?

I was told that VENTUS V4ES H105 was performance all seasons, and it can make a better job in light snow road condition.

But i heard that the reputation of Hankook is so so...does that important effect the quality?

I would not recommend driving in the snow withthe RS2. I don't have any experience with the H105. Didn't know that you guys had much snow up there? From my research and experience, the Hankooks are a great value.

We hardly get any snow here but it's best to have all seasons this time of year for that big surprise. We have a lot of bad drivers here as well so when it does snow it's best to park the car.

Hi,
congrats on your new ride. I use Dunlop SP winter sport M3 during the winter. Very good tire in the wet and snow. It is also a very nice tire when the road is not wet or covered with snow. Don't use this tire on icy road surface because it will not work.
thx

I'm using the Goodyear Eagle Ultra Grip. They got me through all the heavy snow last year. I only got stuck testing the snow capabilities of the tire on a slight uphill around the kerrisdale area. Otherwise, they worked in snowy conditions, up to a certain point.

My gf's Mini S with Dunlop 9000's, which is a all season performance tire, actually worked better in the snow than my Goodyear Eagle Ultra Grips.

This might be an issue of tire width/camber rather than the tire, since my S is lowered.

I have to replace my rear tires, and I will probably go for somthing less pricy than Eagle Ultra Grip.
