Default what weight engine oil for summer?

since we covered 'which brand' on last thread,

which weight do you guys use for summer?

I'm currently using Lube Moly 5W40 and I'm due for oil change in week or two.

should I stick with 5W40?

Do you plan on tracking your car?

5W30 will be more than fine, but there is nothing wrong with sticking to the 5W40.

The book says 10w30, so I use 10W30.

heads up. not a big deal, but since that book was printed, Honda has changed it's recommended specs to 5w30.

i know, but the 5w30s were in cases and the 10w30s were in individual jugs, so yeah, would've made the walk from the store to the other side of the mall much more "pleasant" lol
