WTB/tech help: Standalone ECU
I been thinking of getting an standalone ecu enough to run engine. and a custom cluster. Ne one have ne tips for this. I'm currently working on my project is there is just a jumbo mess of wires everywhere. I just want enough to start the engine and run. I'll be doing a custom wiring job for the start buttion etc and using the stock ap1 engine harness. I hopefully can get some advice on if anyone has ever run a standlone ECU. I'm thinking AEM but Kpro seems to getting more and more tunable from what i hear.

yeah I've had both systems on my car, ultimately your car is only going to run as good as the person who tunes it, so ultimately it is whatever your tuner is comfortable with. That being said startup is a dream with the KPRO and I would never go back, boost by gear 2 step is easy to setup and everything works like it should. Ideally if you want a cluster the MXL strada is compatible with both units and displays everything you need, sweet setup a few of supra guys I know run this.

First of all, I am a noob when it comes to mods and tuning... so here's my dumb question
I thought the kpro (Hondata, right?) for the S2000 is just in pre-order mode... I swear I see ads for that on the forum
