Default minimum electronics needed to run?

hi all, i just got my '00 F20 mounted in my '85 rx7... im going to be going aftermarket ecu and im curious, what's the minimum needed to get my engine fired up and running/driving?
No power steering, no ac, no heat (for now). i guess i just need alt and wp driven off the belts.
Im really looking for sensor wise... what need?
i do have an AP1 gauge cluster i can use if needed. i was leaning towards running a haltech ecu and i see i can get custom harness' made however i dont see anything wrong with just using the stock one and deleting a few (or a lot) of things off it...

SO what all do i actually need to run it

I'd recommend grabbing an inside( under the dash) harness from a s2k. That will accommodate a lot of things that talk to the cluster and connector c101. I'm working on a f2k project into a 96 civic so I'm in the same boat. Im working with an ap1 engine harness, dash harness, and cluster which will be ran through an AEM v2 ecu. Sensor wise keep mainly everything that ECU needs from the engine minus a few. I've deleted o2's- pin c16 still is utilized for wideband-, knock sensor, and vtec oil pressure sender. I have yet to wire in source voltages and grounds to the ECU but the dash harness is where that is supplied. I suggest downloading the s2000 service manual to get pin outs and wiring diagrams. Feel free to PM me with any questions since I'm currently working on the electrical portion of my build.
