We have enough interest, this event is a go!

The date for this event is tentatively set for Saturday June 11th Sunday June 5, 2022, waiting for VIMC to confirm with us (they said 90% chance we will get this date confirmed!

Our group has partnered with Kalson and TSS x Revscene to host this event. They have lots of experience hosting track days over the years (search youtube for uploads from participants)The cost for this event is $420 Canadian. For those who paid a deposit ($100) - please send the balance of $320 to kalsonc22@gmail.com or send the full amount over indicating that you are attending the S2k Track Day.

For those that signed up back cannot make the new date, from now until January 1st, 2022 you can request a refund due to the change of date.

Hello Vancouver Island S2ki family, This site hasn't been too active lately, I'm looking to change that a bit.

A few of us went to VIMC earlier this month, as a result, guys in our whatsapp group has expressed an interest in getting an S2000 Track Day going next year. I thought I'd post up here to see if anyone else might be interested. If you are (like 95% chance or higher), then post up. Putting your name down does not guarantee you a spot, nor is there any obligations on your part. I'm trying to do a head count to see how many spots we would need.

I do not have any details for dates or pricing yet. The event will likely be on a weekend.

There is a high probability that this event will happen as our chat group has 16 people interested already. So post up here if you are also interested!

Hopefully I'll get to see some old faces and meet some new friends!

Update: A local speed shop has stepped up and will Co-host this event! To kick things off, they are giving special pricing for Ohlins DFV to all Vancouver S2000 owners; it's a at a great price in Canadian dollars! You do not need to participate in the track day in order to get the special price but there is an additional discount if you do/are signed up! They will also offer specials on pre-trackday service. In addition, for every $100 spent, you will be entered into a draw for various prizes, the grand prize being a free track day! The shop will host a meet in the spring where the winner will be drawn. Message me for more details!

UPDATE:

This event is fast approaching!

We have decided on a schedule to facilitate the members that will be taking the ferry from the mainland. This can be a day trip for the Vancouverites. Gates open at 8:30 and the mandatory drivers meeting is at 9am, with the track hot at 9:20.

This track day deal just got a bit sweeter! We will be taking the group photos during the lunch hour. Because this means you won't be able to go out to buy lunch, one of our members, realtor Kelvin Luk, has offered to sponsor a pizza lunch for all of us! So that means a free lunch for us all! Thank-you Kelvin!

There's still a few spots left (no-beginner spots though) so sign up!
