Hey islanders!

Im a Uni student from Van and just for hired for a summer position consisting of only 8 weeks at VGH.
Does anyone have or know someone whose willing to rent out their downstairs or something like that?
Some of the basic things i'll be needing would be: wireless internet, privacy, and well, furnished-since ill only be for 8 weeks.

My wife is an ICU nurse at that hospital. Sorry don't know of anyone but will ask the wife if she does. Good luck.

 

My daughter is a student at UVIC, and has a 5 BR house that has only one person in it for the summer.

A thought, maybe try looking up residences for University students, they seem to have houses or shared houses online. I think there was one listed that was like a cottage fully furnished etc. with in a property for rent, like having all to yourself.

 

Try houseing.uvic.ca it's off campus housing, it may be anywhere in town. could be close to the hospital too
