what are the complications from going between AP1 and AP2. If it isnt too bad, then i am extremely interested.

 

Sorry, I just did the swap today. I wouldve loved to swap for your AP2 interior tho.

FYI, I dont think theres any difference in fitment from AP1 to AP2. I see a lot of people swap AP2 parts into the AP1. I think up to 2005 everything will fit easily. The main differences are:

- Door panels: AP1 doesn't have that little side pocket. 2002-2003 tweeter spots are different. 2000-2001 doesn't have tweeter spots.

AP1:


- Center console cover: 2000-2001 is carpet. 2002+ is that leather like material.

- Center console: AP2s have 2 cup holders and a silver sliding cover. Theres an extra rubber surround above the shifter, and the radio door is silver. If you do a swap for tan interior, you can and should keep these AP2 parts and they will work.
