I am thinking of buying an S2000, I want an AP2 as stock as possible or easily changed to stock. If anyone knows an enthusiast selling I would love to hear from you. I am open to colors, but do not want black. I want a nicer example in the $20K plus range.

Make a priority list. Mine was headed with "2006 or later" because I wanted a DBW car that could be tuned without a new ECU. Completely stock, low mileage (under 50K) and "all 10 VIN stickers" were at the top of the list as well. Color was last. Your list will be different and will eliminate most of the cars you find leaving a short list. Maybe a very short list. Spring is here (in some places!) and asking prices for roadsters peaks during this period.

Agreed. There are a number of them out there but establish what you want first. Keep in mind the car is old so you may have to compromise on some things. Check out the buyer's checklist in the S2000 Talk subsection. It might help guide you into what you prioritize in your search. I'm from Boston and was SUPER picky with my search, and it could be tough to find one in New England that hasn't started rusting. Good luck!
