Been looking.for an Invidia Q300 shipped to 78045 Stainless or Titanium either or is fine. Dont need a test pipe or cat unless its a Berk HFC please mssg me asap!

 

Have you heard the Q300 inside the car on the road? Hear it (or any aftermarket exhaust) in person. Internet sound clips are useless as I found out to some expense.

A buddy and I put Berk high flow cats and Q300 exhausts on my AP2 and his AP1 about May last year. Beautiful exhaust system. This combination proved undriveable due to headache inducing noise especially from the drone in the 3000 to 4000+ mid range. A drive by the high school got lots of thumbs up from the boys driving Civics.

Noise levels exceeded 105 dBA with the Q300 and high flow cat. Didn't try it with the OEM cat, it may not be as horrible. I was contemplating putting this sticker on the dashboard.



Best things (for us!) about the Q300 were the ease in swapping it for the Tanabe Medalion Touring and the ease of selling it at a heavily discounted price. Replaced it by myself (OK, the neighbor's cat checked on me a couple of times) in 40 minutes at the most once the car was on the lift.
