WTB 2000-2008 S2000
Hi all,
I am looking to purchase a used S2000 in good condition.
I am looking for a vehicle to compliment my current stable of Hondas (CR-V, Prelude Si 4WS, Magna 750, and other Honda power equipment)
I am basically looking for a vehicle that my girl and I can enjoy on the weekends for a top down cruise down to the lake shore, as an alternative of having "the bitch in the back" of the bike.
I checked the classifieds here and it seems that people are out of touch with reality. Some asking ridiculous amount for a 5-7 year old vehicles. I understand that people form attachments to their vehicles, but please be reasonable.
They may be in pristine condition, but you have to be realisitc. A local dealer here has a brand new 2008 S2000 with 17 miles for $28,000. I asked them about a possibility of selling it for $25,000 and they did not seem to be offended.
I figured I could find a used one for less and just pay cash. I am looking for vehicles and prices in-line with Edmunds used car guide, not the dealer retail column, but something between the "trade-in" and "private sale."
I am in Buffalo, NY, but willing to travel up to 500 miles for a good vehicle, and will be paying cash or equivalent.

if you feel the prices we as a community as a whole are ridiculous, perhaps you should go get the one from the dealer then. I don't see the point of insulting us saying that we are out of touch with reality. if it was one person, leave it at one person.
are you looking for stock? modified? color?
and it's true . . . insulting any/all potential sellers under one broad generalization isn't that wise.
It's common knowledge that everyone is looking for the best deal they can get, no need to be arrogant about it in the process.
