I was heading home tonight, it was nice, so I decided to put the top down, and lo and behold, the passenger side latch finally gave out after working dutifully for almost 10 years. I may be able to help. I'm not sure which side I have. I'll have to check when I get home. The AP1 and AP2 latches are different? I forget if mine came from and AP1 or AP2. The guy sold me a frame/top package.

 

As far as I know, the AP2 latches were slightly better made, but the same design, and the strikers are slightly different, but I am keeping my strikers and the driver's side, so it shouldn't be a problem, I just wanted to be specific (when it was, in fact, unnecessary).
