All headers are interchangeable. Catback exhausts are too (mostly...2006+ needs a tiny mod).

The tranny tunnel was changed on the 06+ models. I turned in my '05 and got a '07 and tried using the single exhaust I had on my 05...didnt fit. It rubbed on the tunnel after the cat where it starts to bend up. Sucks cause it just sits in my garage now.

Any header will fit any S physically but many early headers were designed off a peak of 9000 rpms n less torque but Im sure it still helps AP2 motors. I have a AP1 header and it works good on my AP2.

I hope this helps in one way or another.
