Hello All,

First, I'd like to say hello to everyone. I've been reading these boards for a little while now ever since I became interested in S2000's and it looks like this is a great group of people. I have decided it is time to buy my first S2000.

I am not looking for a low mileage example as it will be driven as much as possible. It will not be tracked or auto crossed. A few miles is okay as long as it has been well cared for as from what I've read they can easily reach 200,000 miles plus.

I've read the pro/cons of AP1 and AP2 and I am leaning more towards the API, although that is somewhat due to cost. I understand that even an AP1 can be upgraded. It sounds as though all the model years are great so I'm sure I'll be happy with either.

A main point is where it is located, I am in southeastern Wisconsin. I am willing to travel, but not across the country so the cars on the coasts are a little too far.

I understand it is getting into winter here so it isn't the best time to buy, but you never know. I've summarized more or less what I'm looking for below.

• Well maintained AP1 or AP2 in stock condition
• Anywhere up to 110,000 to 115,000 miles
• Clean and clear title
• Budget is $14,000 (cash buyer) give or take a little
• I am willing to meet at a bank if the seller has a lien
• Located within a reasonable driving distance to southeastern Wisconsin
