Default 02 Wheels on 05

I tried searching but I'm having trouble finding a clear answer. I have an 05 S and I'm considering buying a used set of 02 (or any year before 04) S 16" OEM wheels. I'd like to use the wheels to mount winter tires on this winter. I assume I can just buy the appropriate winter tires, have them mounted on the 02 wheels and use them on my 05? Right? Any issues with doing this? Sorry if this is a stupid question....just want to be sure. Thanks.

That's exactly what I did with my '04 (used Blizzaks), and it worked like a charm. I personally think that 16" wheels, thereby allowing more sidewall on the tire, help with a snow tire, as does having a slightly thinner footprint.

Heck, where else will you get pretty nice-looking wheels for $300 for the whole set?
