Default 17x7 all around...any problems w/that?

I might be trading my AP1 stockies for a set of 17x7 wheels all around. is that ok to run on this car, as I know the car comes with a staggered setup? The guy Im getting it from doesnt know the offset, but he thinks it might be 45. He got the car from a dealer, it is a MY01.

Also what tire size should i run on these?

You shouldn't go with a non-staggered setup unless it's for a reason. If the reason is that you just want wheels for cheap, you're doing it for the wrong reason. You're going to induce more oversteer with this setup unless you compensate by changing tires sizes.

Problem with a 7 inch width is you can't run wider than a 235/40 in back. But if you want to do it you could have a 205/45 in front and it would be similar to stock.

I ran 17 x 7.5 with 215's all the way around (just for a car show) and the handling was horrible (unless you like drifting ) the rear of the car would come out very easy compared to stock and I would not recomend running that set up for a very long period of time (I would imagine rain/poor weather being very scary on that set up).

If you up size the tires (like SimpleMan suggested) you can minimize the problem, but I would suggest going with a staggered set up unless it was a larger than the stock rear non-staggered set up (17 x 8.5 or 17 x 9's)
