what happens if I go for 17x7.5 all round?
I'm about to spend all my hard earned on ce28n wheels for my Spa and I don't want massive traction. is it a bad choice to go for 17x7.5 all round instead of 7.5F/9R? I just want to keep the AP1 tire width 225-235 will I be ok or will the stagger be a problem?

Why limit yourself? Get the 7.5/9 combo and run 215/45, 245/40. It isn't "massive" traction at all, just the standard upgraded size on the AP2. You have like 5 threads now all asking the same thing. If you want to run a 225 rear then fine, but you aren't going to find many people here who recommend it.

I know you're right I'm sorry
I just want to make the right decision considering how much money these wheels cost! if I run 225 front will that make the back end more unstable?

that setup will probably be really unstable. with stock ap2v1's the car gets really hairy when you step out of bounds... i'm still learning how to control it (and myself) at the track.
why spend all your hard earned cash on wheels that could really upset the balance of the car?
if you want the back end to break loose just inflate your tire pressure. although i DO NOT recommend that.

you're basically gonna see a more "balanced" set up. this, however, is only good if you know how to control it and have a good understanding of weight transfer, etc.
honda created a staggered set up for a reason. going with a "square" set up will make this over-steering car oversteer even more.

You could run 7.5" all around with 205/50-17 fronts and 225/45-17 rears (stock AP1 widths). If you *don't* want massive traction, why 225s up front?
For tires, clickie on the TireRack banner above. Tons of info (including weights) on tons of tires.
Most important thing is to get the best tires for *your* particular wants/needs/usage (which, if you "don't want massive traction" are very different from most of the rest of us!).

Weights for Continental ExtremeContact DW are 19 and 20 lb. for the 205/225 sizes. Lightest you'll find, I bet. Do not use in snow/ice/cold...
