Default 17x7 Size wheels for the rear?

I have a set of 17x7 size wheels that came off my old rsx type-s. I just wanted to know if 17x7 size wheels are wide enough for the rear or should I step up to a 17x8? If I decide to stay with the 17x7's what size tires should I go with? The wheels only weight 15.7lbs. so they are nice and lightweight.

bump up to 8, 8.5 or even 9 in the rear if you can. 7" in the front are okay.

If you dont stagger the wheel widths you will throw off the handling characteristics of this car = bad move.

do a search for staggered wheels and such and you will get tons of info

good luck

Don't forget the stock offset for the S in the rear is 65mm...

The rims off the rsx will stick out since they're probably in the 43mm range.
