Default 17x8 and 17x9 Wheel Fitment

So Im wondering, i know S2k's like the higher offset wheels. However, wanted to get some feedback from you guys.

Any of you ever run or know of someone that has ran a 17x8 Front and 17x9 Rear
Combo?

Im currently lookin at a set of wheels that are this size, and are 45 offset.

Im wondering if I can clear the wheels, without having to roll the fenders with a nice drop?

Thanks for any info or help you can provide.

Why are you averse to rolling your fenders?

thats goin to be a hard one. You might be able to if you run narrow tires and a good amount of negative camber

215/45/17, 235/40/17 = no rubbing on stock fenders unless you are super slammed

rolling fenders isnt a really big deal as long as it is a good job. (use a heatgun and you will be fine)

Those tire sizes will fit without any fender modification, granted you're not super slammed (lowest you will be able to go is 1-1 1/2" drop). Just curious, where did you find this set?? Askin' because I found a set with the same specs, hope they're not the same wheels??

True dat dancer. Or else get it done at a custom shop or body shop, they know what they are doing. I have my fenders rolled- and I'll be damned if anybody else can tell before I tell them.

What "extent"? You act like it is some crazy and difficult thing to do that changes everything about the car. No one can even tell its done unless they get under there and check everything out with a fine tooth comb. It really isn't that serious- but you can get more wheel and tire in the well if you do. What exactly are you afraid of?
Ps- no need to get an attitude about such a simple question. This is a forum. People ask questions and discuss things here...
Where did I say it was a "Crazy diffucult thing" exactly?

Get an attitude? I choose not to roll my fenders on my S2k, because its my preference..and thats getting an attitude? Im a bit loss.

This was a simple question, and not debate on what I should and should not do to my car. Im not afraid of anything bud, and I'm quite aware of this being a forum. You're right..People do ask and discuss things, "but" only where its needed and asked. Use some common sense, before trying to compete in an internet fight. Seems like you're the one that entered my post, with an attitude...wouldn't you say?

Again, This was my question of fitment of wheels.

Thanks to everyone, who gave there positive input..
