Thumbs up 17x8 +42 Offset tire sizes?

I am looking into getting Wedsport SA90's in 17x8 +42 on all 4 corners from Evasive on their blowout special and I have a question on staggering tire sizes and if it will negatively effect performance on my AP1.

I would like to do the below tires on these wheels.

215/45/17 - Front

245/40/17 - Rear

This is as close to the stock tire stagger on AP1 as I can get that will fit the wheels perfectly. I used the offset calculator and it seems that this will work, but I am worried about overall performance effects this may have since the wheels are the same width front and back.

I will not be slamming my car, but will be about 1 to 1.5 inches down on my T1R BMAX coilovers. I am starting to get a big interest in lapping days, and want an acceptable setup to suit these needs.

Please let me know what you think! Thank you.

wont negatively effect anything,....you will just have the same width rims all around and still not beable to rotate them with different tire sizes......spend the extra and get 9" for the rear.

You can run the tire sizes you mention but with the 17X8 wheel and the 42mm offset you could still have some rubbing issues.

With a 1.5 inch drop you'll rub with those on suspension compression. You'll want to roll fenders and run extra neg camber.

you can run a 245/215 combo but you may have some slight rubbage if your on just drop springs. I suggest fender rolling, which can clear up rubbing night and day
