Sure trust you - Like "The check's in the mail," and "This won't hurt a bit!"

I have 1.5" vertical clearance from the top of the sidewall to the lip of the fender on the rear. Remember, I have 265's in the rear; you have 255's. Also, it'll be different for you unless you're running RE-750 Potenzas. Various brands fit differently.
