i decided i will go with the mich pilot sport cup, 225-40-18 in the front and 235-40-18 in rear. any comments on this sizing ? will it be ok for track days, will the car handle well. or maybe better ?

 

I would not go with the sizes you mention. You are going to have a taller tire on the back of the car than the front and the stagger is a lot closer than stock. Without suspension mods the handling is going to be off.
