Default 18's that won't rub?

I'm contemplating getting 18's but I know its difficult to find the right offset for the s2k. I'm planning on lowering it on bilstein coilovers and I don't want to deal with any rubbing issues. Preferably I wanted some volk ce28n's or te37's, but is there an 18 inch rim out there that will not give me a problem with rubbing if the car is lowered?

It is not just the rim that creates the problem. It's the "tire sizing" that ultimately will cause problems. Offset is only one parameter. It is the selection of the proper width and aspect ratio of tire to match that rim that will be critical.

My Work S2R's barely ever rub and I am lowered on H&R springs with stock shocks. The sizes are : 18x8, +51 front 225/40/18
18X9, +63 rear 255/35/18

If you check out the Wheel Fitment Guide sticky, you can learn what offsets have worked well for the S2000. If you use wheels with those offsets, and choose tires that are within the recommended width for your particular wheel, you should be 90% there.

If you want to be sure you won't rub, you should try to find wheels that have offsets as close to the stock offsets as possible (They have very high offsets.) If you are going with wheels significantly wider than stock, you might need offsets even higher than that.

Read the Guide first, and that should help.
