19" with neuspeed
I did a search but i couldnt find anything useful.
I was wondering why a lot of people on this forum go for 18" wheels and not 19"? Is there something im missing about the s2000 with 19" wheels? or is it just because people prefer 18" wheels on the s2000?
i am shopping for an s2000 within the next week or so and im going to start modding it as soon as i take it off the lot. I want to lower the car with neuspeed springs (i like the drop) and have the car sitting on 19x8 racing harts.
With the s2000, and with this setup, is there going to be any modification needed for the fenders?
Thanks in advance for my newb questions fellas.

There are several reasons why people don't go with 19's. They are heavy, not many wheels have the correct offset, rough ride, rubbing, tires, they're expensive, personal preference and so on.
I love the look of 19" wheels, but I'll stick to lightweight 17's because I want this car to go as good as it looks.

By going from 16" to 19" you are going to see a lot slower acceleration. You are changing the gearing of the car, not to mention the added unsprung weight. This car responds very well to reduced weight and tighter gearing. In fact the best mod for the buck is 4.44 or 4.77 final drive gears. If you are going to get 19" wheels and find some that work, you may want to look into this mod to offset the wheel diameters. Good luck!
