Default axis hiro wheels or similar alternative

g'day all

i really like the look of the 18" axis hiro (anthracite) wheels.

http://www.axiswheels.com/wheels/hiro/hiro.html

however, they only come in 18" x 8.5".

will these wheels fit and function properly on a ap1 s2000? i dont want them to protrude outside the fenders. i'm thinking the 8.5" is too much for the front and am also concerened that i will not be staggering the front / rear wheel size.

alternatively, are there any similar looking wheels out there that do fit a s2000 properly. say 7.5" or 8" front and 8" or 8.5" rear? they must have a 5 spoke racing design and dark grey or black in colour. not overly concerend about weight and don't want to spend a fortune... would be nice if they were available in australia also

thanks.

did some more research and found the fitment guide

it looks as though the following setups could be used.

For the front:

You first have to verify you can get those offsets for those wheels. I don't think you can, although the last time I checked was like 2 years ago.

I dont think those Hiro's come in proper offsets for us s2000 guys. I think the offsets are more favorable for the Z's or G35's.

I like the look of those wheels though.

Good luck,

Jim

+45 offset max for these wheels. i'm guessing that this is not enough. can some one more experienced confirm that this is the case.

You can run a +45 wheel with a 215-225 front tire and 235-245 rear. I am slammed and am running a +45 offset without any rubbing issues.

What width rear. My Volks are 18x8 rear with a +50 and with a 245 tire they rubbed a lot when I was lowered before fenders where flared and rolled.

I am running 8/9 +45 I have never rubbed in the rear, ever. Look around the boards, you will probably find plenty of guys running this identical setup without any rubbing issues.
