Default 225/35/18 tires

Has anyone run 225/35/18 profile tires for the fronts? I plan on mounting it on an 18x8.0" wheel (+53 offset). Rear is 285/30/18 on a 18x10.5" (+74 offset).

If I were you I would mount a 235-40-18 and not the 35 series. That is too low of a profile, and kinda far off from the original OD.

It would also throw off the anti lock brakes. I would go with the 225/40R18 on the front.

Why would it throw off the ABS? Is it because of the overall diameter of the tire?
