Default Anyone else with 255/xx/18 tires in the rear?
Anyone else running 255/xx/18 tires on your aftermarket rims? What are the offsets on your rims? Someone brought to my attention that running these tires could be dangerous; is it true? Any thoughts?

Dangerous? Not sure I understand why that would be the case.

I'm sure that Jim could give you a set answer though. Just repost in the wheel and tire section.

255/35/18 on my LM's (+55 offset). I rub if I drive really hard and don't watch for dips/potholes but otherwise they fit fine.
