The OEM tire on an AP1 is 225/50/16. A 225/45/16 will actually be a smaller overall diameter. This would give you even more distance from the tire rubber to other parts of the car. So, no rubbing will not be an issue, but your back rims/tires will look like little donuts.
As a side note, if you are not going with OEM S02 tires, you should be targetting 245/45/16 tires for the rear as the OEM tires have a wider contact patch than most other tires of the same size designation.

Sorry, I read stuff way too fast sometimes.

Yes, it'll fit unless you are drastically lowered, then there "might" be some issues. Actually, putting a 225 tire up front has been done a fair bit already. However, to maintain the balance of the car, what are you planning to put in the rear?

Rears will be 255/40.
The tyres are R888, and i just checked, 225 is the biggest size for 16"

btw, car is not lowered.

You will throw off the anti lock brakes though. I would not recommend it.

Are you sure about the anti-lock brakes Jim? Lots of people use wacky sizes for autocross and have no issues.

No. 245/45/16 is best.

225/50 F
245/45 R

fits fine,

i only have -1 camber front, wish ida done more.. was going up a ... 30degree incline and because of susp compression and my extreme caster the tire caught fender edge and pulled it out.. got it pushed back in but i can still tell a lil divot..

so because of my need for 225's in front i need PDR now.

if your going to run them, lowered ALOT, and have sharp inclines in your town. run more than 1* camber
