235/40/-17 on CE28 17x7.5?

I am wondering if anyone has any experience using a Toyo R888 or other tire in a 235/40-17 on a 17x7.5 CE28 for the front. My car is lowered less than an inch with a UK spec alignment. I'm planning to go to the track in 2 weeks and would like any feedback on handling/rubbing, etc. I plan on a 255/40-17 for the rear on a 17x9. Thanks for any help.
