Default 235/40/18 ok for rear?

Will 235/40/18 be ok in the rear? I'm dropped 1" on Eibachs.

Thanks for the quick response but would 235/40/18 be ok? Reason being is my friend just crashed his mr2 and had the tires on for 1 week so I would be getting them for free and my rears are toasted. I have 225/40/18 in the fronts. So would 225/40/18 fronts and 235/40/18 rears be ok? My S is a daily driver. thanks

Depends on the rim offset.

It should physically fit, but you have only 10mm stagger in tire widths, which can make the S2000 a bit tail happy and dangerous at the limit.

Before I got new tires I had 235/40/18 tires...Sumitomo tires to top it off.

Sliding the tail out easily was fun while it lasted, but I would much rather get proper tire sizes and good quality tires... so I ended up with 245/35/18 Goodyear F1s. Havn't had the chance to drive the car too much with these but the few hundred miles i have put on sure felt much better

BTW my rear wheels are 18x8.5 with a +48 offset
