+43 offset for rears work?
after seeing a certain rim in the for sale forum with the +43 offset looking quite nice on an s2000, im wondering if its just these particular rims that work with the offset or will all +43's work. I know its not the ideal offset but if one set works and looks good, won't it stand that more should do the same, thereby opening up our rim selection even more?
im im wrong im wrong, just wondering why.

if you are referring to vtecvoodoo's 5zigen rims. yest they do fit because i saw them in person. usually, 43+ would not fit but i don't know if its that particualr wheel but it fits fine, better than my 47+ offset le28's.
well, has anyone tried it or is this just something like "well it wont fit because it wont" type of thing. ive seen that rim before (not on an S though) and it doesn't look all that special to me so it cant be just that rim that works. im wondering if another rim would work with the right tires, anyone personally try the 43 rear offset?
I think that what people are telling you is that the general answer is no, it won't work. Offset is *supposed* to be a hard and fast number that shouldn't vary from manufacturer to manufacturer. But apparently it does. The 5zigen rims in question seem to be the exception to an otherwise pretty set rule.
Can you make them work? Possibly if you're willing to give up some tire size. Is it ideal? Not really.

yeah i know the general consensus(?) is that anything under 55 i think just wont work, and normally id shut up and go along with it. i just find it odd that these zigen rims DO work. Alot of people are asking "will these rims fit" and always get an asnwer of "save up and buy volk/HRE/bbs". well some people dont want those and for a brief shining moment i thoughta ray of hope was near.
but it died
