Default yet another offset question!

in the difficult search for 17x9's, SSR makes the Sp-1's in a 17x9, but not in a +63 offset, which seems to be the correct offset for this size wheel, but.... they do offer a +62 offset. I know it is only a tiny difference but will this tiny difference be enough to not get the wheels due to the offset not being perfect, i am partially being anal retentive about things being exact. Also if the front and back are only off by +or-1 within the supposed best offset, does this make it worse, or better since they are both off.

+62 should work fine given reasonable tire sizing. My ASAs are 17x9 +62 w/255/40/17s - no rubbing whatsoever - track, auto-x or street (lowered just over 1")

Dark Sub Rosa,

Believe it or not, rim fitment is not an exact science. it's kinda like finding the right sized jeans between the various manufacturers.

and since you're anal retentive, let me bug the shit out of you by saying that your suspension from the factory is probably not perfectly even on both sides either.

the offsets for the SP1s sound as good as you can get off the shelf. don't hesitate. go for it and put on some 255/40/17s like lig's got.
