Default 80k on sock suspension, looking to put tein spring

Would this be a bad idea? How long would my shocks last with tein prings approx?

my shocks lasted roughly 20k miles before they started leaking, and mine were practically new.. you should be replacing your shocks soon anyways because they are suposed to be changed around the 50k mark according to most service manuals

Huh I dont think its common to replace stock shocks if all you had was stock springs at 50k most cars go well over 150k on stock shocks.

the springs will make the shocks wear prematurely.. you already have 80k on them.. thats pretty close to the end of its life and now you want to throw springs on there.. save yourself the ehadache and get coilovers.. ive done the spring to coilover thing twice already

I'd be surprised if you get 10K more miles out of your stock shocks with the springs.

Tirerack.com is having a sale on Koni's right now so if it's in your budget you should check it out.
