Default Adjusting coilovers

I just got tein coilovers installed on my car. What is the correct way to adjust the coilovers so that both side (left & right) are the same (or close to)

measuring the length of suspensions?
or the distance from fender to tire?

When i have the same length of suspensions on both sides, the distance from the fender to tire is not the same. So i have to make one side shorter than the other to make the gap between tire and fender the same on both side.

Please let me know which is correct way to do it

thanks

The correct way to do it is to take the car to a suspension specialist and have them corner-weight the car. You'll need to decide what ride height you want first. Measuring to body panels may be aesthetically pleasing, but may not be correct for optimum performance.

What Josh said

You will need to find some race team shops in your area and call to ask them if they can do corner balancing or if they know a shop in your area that does. If you call a normal mechanic or alignment shop they probably will not have any idea what corner balancing is.

Did a quick search for you...not sure how far Berryville is from you, but here is a shop that can corner balance for you:

that's a smokin deal! I think I paid about $185 when I had my Civic aligned/CW'd a few years back.
