^ With 255s? It is usually more like 235s. I mean, I am not saying they CAN'T be fit, I am just saying that it is difficult to fit them to the point it really degrades performance. If he wants to look good, then yes it probably could be done on stock fenders, but the handling and tire life will be worse. Acceleration probably too, if he has to run narrower than 245 in the rear.
I see, I might consider some 245s or 235s in the backs instead then. Maybe a slight pull with roll will help out.

Thanks you guys are great help.

If anyone has other information or input, please feel free!

Silent dancer and a guy named Alex on here (forgot his sn) have super aggressive pulls (not sure if they both have flares welded on) and they run like 10.5 +15 and 11.5 +20... absolutely ridiculous.... So I'm sure 9+22 with 255s could work, but again you would need a very aggressive pull (+repaint) and a lot of camber.

dont let these guys scare you,...just head over to the gallery and look in the "hella flush" threads...........your camber is gonna be at like -4.5 or more with 255s on the rear though IF it can be done, i dont recall 255s on 17x9 +22........go with 245s for keeping it safe but even then your camber might be that high.
