Default Advice, sizing Race wheel for s2k and evo8

Looking to run one set of race wheels for my s2k and evo8. Both car are rolled and modified to handle bigger sizes. Right now I run 17x8.5 +38 and a 255 rs3 with no issues. It would be nice to increase width on the wheel to 9 or bigger. If there is an 18" option I would be open to it as well. Two birds one tire

Can’t help you because I’m not familiar with a typical wheel/offset on the Evo, to know what could be compromised to fit both. I can only tell you what fits on an S2k. Seems like since you’re the owner of both cars, you would be the guy best to know. I'd get under both cars and start measuring. If you develop any more specific questions after that, I may be able to help then.

17x9 +40-45 should fit the S2k nicely Anything lower and the front fenders will give you problems unless they are flared completely flat.. I'm in the same boat not knowing the offsets of evos.

Evos tend to run much lower offsets than the s2k. It's definitely not ideal. you could maybe pull it off with an sti maybe, but not really with an evo. The other thing is BBK clearance.
The evos need to clear the stock brembos and it helps that they run lower offsets - something in the mid 30s range isn't uncommon for them, and it's definitely no good for the s2k unless you have some sort of wide/cut fenders.
