You said: "I am purchasing a set of 17x8.5 front and 17x9.5 rears for my AP1. Wheels are +46 all the way around. I have a turbo car so i want as wide of a tire in the rear as i can get."

I'm not bashing you so much as informing you that you can run a wider tire with higher-offset wheels.

You DID say you wanted as wide a tire as you could get, and you DIDN'T say you HAD a set of wheels. You also said: "its the price you have to pay for wanting a nice lip on a s2k"

Don't shoot the messenger...

Well i gave the guy a deposit to hold the wheels for me. Im picking them up this weekend. I like the style of them a lot and they are different. I got them for a good deal too. I dont need anything crazy wide. 255 should be okay for now. Hopefully in the future i could run something a little wider if i roll the fenders. I cant afford different wheels at this time though. Thanks for the help guys and did not mean to come off rude, Zdan. It just seemed like you were picking me apart.

Sorry 'bout that. I really wouldn't worry about it, 255 is plenty wide. If you like the wheels, don't sweat it. Hard to find high-offset wheels for these cars, the selection is quite limited.

You might need to run some negative camber to keep from rubbing.
